연면적 15,000평의 건물로서 지하 3층, 지상 15층의 본관과 지하 1층, 지상 5층의 별관으로 이루어져 있으며 대한민국 경찰의 핵심 건물이다. 지하 1층에서 3층까지 연결되는 아트리움이 있어 내부 직원의 휴게실 역할을 하고 있으며 대강당, 식당 등 편의시설과 연결되고 있다. 외관은 원형기둥이 은회색 알미늄 불소코팅판넬로 마감되어 있으며 구조는 경찰사무기능의 특수성을 고려, 철골 비렌딩구조를 사용했다.
It consists of three stories of basement, fifteen stories of main building on the ground, and an annex with one story of basement and five stories of ground building, having total size of 15,000 pyung. The Police Headquaters Center is a core of Korean Police. It also reserves atrium which take a role as a lounge for workers, linking from the first story of basement to the third floor on the ground, and equipped with facilities such as grand auditorium and restaurant. The exterior of the building is finished wit silver fluorine aluminum coating panel and used steel vierendeel structure to consider the speciality of elerical affairs of police
