1986년 한국건축가협회상을 수상하였다.

As a model station of the number 3 subway line in Seoul, this is a Seoul’s first station designed by an architect. The station was given favorable comment for the harmonizing of the beauty of Korean tradition with the high technology of construction. The first under ground level accommodates exhibition hall.
