한국에서 가장 아름다운 명산인 국립공원 설악산 횡단도로의 정상에 가파른 경사와 눈, 비바람의 악천후에 잘 적응하는 구조적 조형이다. 철골과 목구조의 합성에 따른 디테일 설계의 완결성을 추구한 작품이며, 6.6m의 캔틸레버에 의한 테라스는 계절에 따른 이용자의 가변성을 담는 기능과 함께 수평의 안정된 조형을 완성시킨다.

Located at the top pass way of Korea’s most beautiful mountain, Sorak, the stuctural form was designed to with stand the critical slope and severe weather conditions. Steel and wood are blended harmoniously in the buildings details.
The 6m cantilevered terrace structure is a multifunctional space for various seasons and horizontally stabilizes the structure and design.
