문화방송(MBC)은 국내 최초, 최대의 민간 방송국으로 여의도로 이전하기 전까지 방송국으로 사용되었으며, 당초 상층부에는 호텔로 계획된 복합건물이다. 전면 타워부분 뒤쪽으로 스튜디오를 비롯한 방송기능은 갖추고 있었으나, 현재는 경향신문사 사옥으로 사용되고 있다. 노출 콘크리트를 주로 하고 있으며, 일부는 흰색타일이 첨부된 PC판넬로 구성되어 개성이 강한 표정을 보여준다.

MBC was the first and largest private broadcasting company in Koera. Before the company moved to Yoido, the building was the headquarter of the company. At the time of its construction it was designed to accommodate a hotel on the top part of the building. Behind the front tower spaces for broadcasting such as studios were built, but now the building is used by Kyunhyang Daily. With exposed concrete and PC panels with white tiles the building makes a unique expression.
